Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 23, 2026

These terms apply to your use of kbdtest.com and its keyboard testing tools and guides.

Using the website

You may use the tools for personal or professional keyboard checks. Use the site lawfully, and do not attempt to disrupt it, compromise its security, or interfere with other visitors’ access. You can stop using the site at any time.

Test results and limitations

Results reflect events received by your browser during a session. They are not a hardware certification, repair service or guarantee that a device is working correctly. Some keys and combinations are intercepted by your device or operating system. Typing scores depend on the passage, elapsed time and current text.

System shortcuts may still execute while testing. Use care with combinations that close windows, change settings or trigger actions in other applications. Consult your device manufacturer for repair instructions.

Availability and changes

The website is provided as available. Features, diagrams, explanations and these terms may change. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or error-free results. Changes to these terms will be posted on this page with an updated date.

Content and third-party links

You may save your own exported test results. Do not present our content as your own or imply that we endorse your products. References to Apple, Microsoft and other brands identify compatible devices or sources; kbdtest does not claim affiliation with those companies. External websites have their own terms and privacy practices.

Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, kbdtest is provided without warranties and we are not responsible for losses resulting from reliance on test results or interrupted access. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
